RSL Queensland has selected Active Lifestyle events to provide opportunities for veterans, current serving Defence members, their partners, and children to take part in activities while connecting with fellow members of the Defence family.

Learn how to make your own unique poppy-themed sterling silver creation in a 3hour workshop under the instruction of silversmith artisan Jemica Ostrofski.

We have 2 times available for this workshop:

  • Saturday, 16 July - 9 am to 12 pm
  • Saturday, 16 July - 1 pm to 4 pm

* Please arrive 15mins prior to your allotted time.

Cost: Free

What to wear: Please wear long pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and closed-in shoes.

Eligibility Requirements: Veterans, current serving Defence members, their partners, and children. Children must be 16+ years and supervised by an adult.

Please note that prior to the event, you will be asked to complete a participation waiver that will be emailed after registration.

Food will not be provided but there is a cafe on site.
